And every time you do get a decent swing, who happens to be standing exactly where the ball is going to land? An opposing catcher. It never goes soaring into the air, like the computer opponents can every time they hit the ball. Baseball doesn't allow you to hit the ball properly at all, no matter how long you spend trying to do it. You put your bat directly infront of the ball, and it sails straight past you and you lose. Table tennis also has some issues with collision. Billiards has awful controls, as you pull the Wiimote back to prepare the cue for hitting the ball, you push the Wiimote forward. On laser hockey, you go to hit the puck back, and what happens? It keeps on going towards your goal, even if you hit it straight on, it goes the opposite way to what it should have done. Wii Play has some really dodgy programming and controls in it.
WII PLAY BILLIARDS IMPOSSIBLE SHOT HOW TO
They are the two most aggravating games on the Wii, with unresponsive controls, and computer AI that knows how to do things that you can't do no matter how many hours you spend trying to do them.

But they seem to have the opposite effect. Wii Sports and Wii Play were made to allow people to see and feel what the Wii was like, and to attract more people to the Wii.
